How to Clean Windows From the Inside

We also have some green cleaning solutions to help you clean your windows.

  1. Choose a cloudy day. It is important to choose the right weather for cleaning windows. Because bright sunlight will dry your cleaner solution and make windows streaky, it is best to clean windows when the weather is cloudy.
  2. Let’s get started by getting our homemade window cleaner and microfiber cloths.
  3. Start at the top. Spray the window with a microfiber cloth and clean it up. Start working your way down, then wipe the frame down from the inside and out.
  4. Window cleaning marathons can be made easier by using a bucket. You may find it easier to fill a bucket with your cleaner solution if you have multiple windows. To make your windows shine, use one microfiber cloth and one dry one.
  5. Let it shine. Polish your windows with a T-shirt made of cotton or a blackboard eraser to make them sparkle.
  6. Clean the screen. Please take out the window screens and spray them using a hose. Use a brush and your water/vinegar mixture to clean the screens. Vacuum the screens and wipe them with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt.

How to wash windows outside the best way

You want your windows shining inside and out. This is why you need to learn how to clean your windows from the outside. That’s where we can help! Because outside windows can be more difficult than inside, you will likely need a ladder or a tool to climb high.

This is the best way to clean your windows outside.

  • If the forecast isn’t calling for rain, choose a cloudy day.
  • Use a hose to rinse your windows outside. Next, fill a bucket of water with some dish soap and add a few drops to the bucket.
  • Use a microfiber cloth and a sponge to mop to wash the windows.
  • Use a hose to clean the windows.
  • You can use a squeegee or a brush to rid the rinse water.

If your window screens are still dirty from washing the inside windows or look rusty and stained, you can take them out and clean them outside.
